Trailbit is an investigative intelligence platform for Bitcoin blockchain analysis. The platform provides transaction tracing, pattern detection, risk scoring, entity attribution, and educational resources. All analysis is derived from publicly available blockchain data using documented probabilistic heuristics.

By using the platform, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Analysis results are based on probabilistic heuristics with documented confidence levels
• Risk scores are indicators, not determinations
• Pattern detection may produce false positives and false negatives
• Results require human verification before any regulatory or legal action

5. Risk Screening Limitations

The risk screening feature has the following limitations that you must understand before relying on any output:

• Uses static watchlist data synced from publicly available sources
• Is not a licensed compliance solution
• Results require independent verification through the originating authority's official channels
• The platform is not a substitute for a formal compliance program

6. AI-Generated Content

Where AI-assisted features are available:

• AI features use your own API key (BYOK architecture) — Trailbit does not supply AI credits
• AI outputs are advisory only and require human review before any use
• You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of any use of AI-generated content
• AI model, token usage, and timestamps are logged for audit purposes

8. Limitation of Liability

Trailbit provides the platform “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Trailbit shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Decisions made based on analysis outputs from the platform
• Inaccuracies or errors in heuristic results, risk scores, or pattern detections
• Delays, interruptions, or unavailability of the service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

Users assume full responsibility for how they use platform outputs. Analysis results must be independently verified by qualified professionals before being used in any compliance, regulatory, or legal context.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Limassol, Cyprus.

10. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Trailbit to facilitate, support, or conceal illicit financial flows, money laundering, sanctions evasion, terrorist financing, or any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.

You may not use the platform's analytical capabilities, learning materials, or heuristic documentation to develop techniques for evading blockchain analytics or detection systems.

Accounts found in violation of these terms will be terminated immediately without refund. Trailbit reserves the right to report suspected violations to relevant authorities.
